About Days Behind
Days Behind counts how long Europe waits. Some timers count days since a feature launched elsewhere but not here. Others count days since an EU rule came into force.
How a timer works
- The clock starts on the day a feature launched outside Europe, or a rule came in.
- The number is today minus the start date. It updates itself each day.
- Every timer lists its sources and the date it was last checked.
- "Europe" means the UK or Switzerland are left out too. "The EU" means EU only.
- If a company gave a reason, it is quoted. If it did not, the page says "no reason given". When the company and the EU disagree, both are quoted.
- When a feature arrives, its timer stops and moves to Arrived.
